Hi there!

Hoyt Dwyer is an AI-driven filmmaker whose work merges the craft of cinema with the frontier of machine intelligence. His latest animated short, Pexote Jack: Ohio!, was selected to compete at AI Film Fest Japan 2025 in Tokyo - a festival celebrating the future of storytelling through artificial intelligence. Blending the hand-drawn charm of 1930s animation with cutting-edge generative tools, Dwyer’s films explore the collision between legacy media and the algorithms redefining modern creativity.

Before venturing into AI filmmaking, Dwyer built an award-winning career in advertising and entertainment. As part of the Apple TV Creative team, he helped shape campaigns that connected technology, celebrity, and culture on a global stage. Earlier, his work with agencies including Media Arts Lab, BBH LA, and Publicis NY earned recognition from Cannes Lions, AICP, Communication Arts, and the Clios, establishing him as a filmmaker with both artistic intuition and production precision.

Today, Dwyer directs AI-assisted animation and cinematic experiments that blur the line between human and machine authorship. His focus is on stories that feel handcrafted yet impossible without technology.

Currently based in the United States, Dwyer is developing new AI-driven projects for global release while seeking creative partnerships with brands and studios that share a spirit of experimentation. His work fuses cinematic craft with emerging technology to reach audiences around the world… especially those ready to embrace storytelling’s next evolution.

Not everyone is ready for what’s coming, but Dwyer’s mission is to work with the ones who are.
